ASSOCIATE CONDUCTOR – MARK SCZUBLEWSKI
Mark Sczublewski earned his Bachelor of Education cum laude from the University of Toledo and has taught all levels of K-12 music across the country from Ohio, South Carolina, Georgia and California. Mark recently retired from the San Bernardino City Unified School District. A career-long Music Educator, Mark has served as band director, chorus director, private instructor and elementary music teacher.
Mark has also been an educational sales representative for a large music company in northwestern Ohio, a detail draftsman for a steel company, a sales and marketing director for a computer systems company and a sound and video projection consultant and technician.
Mark served in the military in both the 122 Army Band (ONG) and the 555 Air Force Band (OANG) as a musician, arranger and sound technician. He remains active as an arranger and electronic engraver, participating in numerous projects for many sacred and secular organizations.
Mark continues to perform with a variety of organizations such as the Camp Carleton Cornet Band, the Empire Wind Ensemble, the Twilight Palms (Steel Pan Band) and is active in conducting and/or performing with The Riverside Concert Band, Riverside Swing Ensemble and the Riverside Jazz Combo.
